What if martyrs and saints lived among us? And what if you were told you were one of them?
Meet Agnes, Cecilia, and Lucy. Three lost girls, each searching for something. But what they find is Beyond Belief...
Agnes explained to them about their namesakes. The legends of their saints and the influential roles they played. Their martydom.
"It's about realizing what's most important , what you are meant to be, meant to do. And what you are willing to sacrifice for it. They gave all they had for what they believed in. Gladly. A love, a duty, a calling beyond themselves."
"Oh, yeah, and what is our calling?" CeCe asked.
"I don't know, but whatever it is, I believe it's something we can't do alone." Agnes insisted.
I'll be honest. I really didn't like The Blessed. I really couldn't get into the story and had trouble getting it read. I always appreciate being given a book to review and I hate not following through but after the first 100 pages or so I had to skim to the end. I just wasn't for me.
